As an authorized training center with the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and American Safety & Health Institute we offer affordable, easy, and convenient classes for healthcare providers in ACLS, ACLS-EP, BLS, PEARS, & PALS and community CPR, AED, and First Aid classes with same day certification. Our classes cover adult, child, and infant CPR, choking, and the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED). After completing one of our courses, you will receive a two year certification.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) training is an advanced course that highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

Before taking ACLS, students should have a mastery of BLS skills and a current, non-expired AHA BLS Provider certification (we will ask to make a copy of your card when you arrive for class). If you do not have a current BLS Provider card, you can add a BLS Provider course and it will be completed during your ACLS course. A student should also be able to recognize various heart rhythms, be familiar with different types of airway management tools and their use and have knowledge of the drugs commonly used to treat cardiovascular irregularities by completing a mandatory online pretest (before class) assessment.

The BLS (Basic Life Support) initial or renewal CPR AED instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. You will receive a 2-year BLS Provider certification through the American Heart Association. All courses issue certification cards the same day as the class. 

**First Aid certification can be added from the registration screen.

Skip the classroom and challenge Basic Life Support by successfully demonstrating the hands-on BLS skills and passing the BLS written exam with an 84% or higher.  The eBook is provided so you can review and prepare ahead of time. 

The purpose of the American Red Cross Basic Life Support Challenge course is to give individuals the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and skill competency outside a formal class setting. Preparing for the testing scenario and final exam is the responsibility of the participant.

The challenge course option is available to all individuals with a current Basic Life Support certificate and those who do not hold a certificate.

Participants who hold a current Basic Life Support certificate may challenge as often as courses are available and their certificate remains valid. Participants who do not possess a current Basic Life Support certificate may only challenge once.

If you do not pass the challenge course, you will have to take the Basic Life Support class.

CPR AED courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. You will receive a 2-year CPR AED certification. All courses issue certification cards the same day as class.

First Aid CPR AED courses are designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory (for example, OSHA), or other requirements. These courses can also be taken by anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. The First Aid portion teaches students first aid actions for medical emergencies and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings. You will receive a 2-year First Aid CPR AED certification. All courses issue certification cards the same day as class.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training is an advanced course that highlights the importance of high-performance team dynamics and communication, pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, and effective resuscitation. The goal of the PALS class is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes.

Before taking PALS, students should have a mastery of BLS skills and a current, non-expired AHA BLS Provider certification (we will ask to make a copy of your card when you arrive for class). If you do not have a current BLS Provider card, you can add a BLS Provider course and it will be completed during your PALS course. A student should also be able to recognize various heart rhythms, be familiar with different types of airway management tools and their use and have knowledge of the drugs commonly used to treat cardiovascular irregularities by completing a mandatory online pretest (before class) assessment.

PEARS® (Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization) teaches providers who infrequently deal with pediatrics how to use a systematic approach to quickly assess, recognize the cause, and stabilize a pediatric patient in an emergency situation. PEARS prepares providers to provide appropriate lifesaving interventions within the initial minutes of response until a child can be transferred to an advanced life support provider.

This is the required Instructor Update for all AHA Instructors aligned with HSC | CPR Tally. Instructors must attend an annual Instructor Update and teach 4 classes per discipline in the 2 year recertification cycle to maintain current AHA Instructor Certification.

The Instructor Update will be approximately 2 hours and will cover information for all disciplines.
