Heartsaver Basic – Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Online is taught in a blended learning format. Students must complete the online portion, followed by the hands-on skills session conducted by an American Heart Association Training Center Instructor. Students who successfully complete the online course and skills session (sold separately), will receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion card, valid for two years.
Heartsaver Basic DOES NOT meet OSHA or other regulatory agency requirements. For a course that is designed to meet OSHA and other regulatory requirements,purchase Heartsaver Total.
Once registration is received you will be issued a course key code to complete the online course and instructions. Students may access all material included in the online portion of the program for 24 months following initial activation of their course key. Please note: Once a key code is issued at registration it can not be refunded.
The hands-on skills session (sold separately) is required to receive your CPR certification and is scheduled upon completion of the online course. Please be sure to add the skills session to your cart in addition to the online course. Please call to schedule your hands-on skills session. You will need to bring a copy of your course certificate of completion to your skills session.
